Her mum has been going in and out of the hospital and this is just her way of thanking the doc for taking care of her mum. though I am sure his gesture, his treatment towards her was only natural for a Doctor , not seeking any gift or present in return, simply performng his duties, but for a daughter, seeing the extra care, the xtra effort made to make the older woman feel more comfortable , especially with the pain, prompted her to present him with this basket of goodies.Thank you J and hope your mum will get better soon.
