made small muffins from the banana leftovers, this time instead of using chocolate chip , I used cooking chocolate ( grated into the banana muffin mixture)
banana walnut vs carrot walnut, both best served with cream cheese frosting. which will win? Both !cos they are both equally delicious in their own ways!!

A birthday carrot walnut cake with cream cheese frosting from these three lovely girls for their mama's birthday, my task was to deliver this and surprise their mum at her working place. Happy birthday Kak, wishing you happiness and good health always. thank you Areena and sisters for yet again, trusting aunty zue with the birthday cake of the person dearest to them.

Another carrot walnut cake please, plus another....

delivered these two this morning, after I sent off my daughters to school. It was not far from my house, just around the corner, in the " Kompleks Pendidikan" area, to one of the schools there,

only this time she asked me to cut them in slices for her

plus an additional cake, and this time I made her the plain bake cheesecake

and topped with blueberries filling

Sempoii oblong burger..

darkish brown- meat,

yellow - cheese,

red- tomatoes,

green- lettuce/salad,

greenish white, rings of onion,

mayonaise aka cream cheese frosting

covered with bun - not the exact colour:-)hmmmslurp

The message was simple " Happy Birthday Abang" but the feeling was deeper. Complete with Halal guarantee :-)

The process of ordering, making and delivering was less than 24 hours.How did that happen?

I was driving when my mobile rang.

Recognised the number ( office number ), recognised the sweet voice.

Requested her to call back a lit bit later cos I was driving my daughter to her school for her Sports DAy and about 2 plus I heard the same sweet voice again.

Can you deliver it to him tomorrow?

I thot his birthday was on the 1st July ( i remembered because last year she ordered the black and white carrot cupcakes ( with the heart in the box )for her hubby and I delivered it to him too ).

Tomorrow is 1st July Kak zue......

She must have put a spell ( lawak je Haniey! ) on me cos I couldn't say 'No". it was less than 24 hours, i have got a few orders lined up nicely, cakes baked, waiting to be decorated and there I was agreeing to it.

She wanted the cake to be oblong, the same shape as the oblong burger. I didn't have the cake tin with that shape and I thot I'd just bake the usual round cake and cut into the oblong size but I thot I'd give it atry to see if the shop had any oblong shape cake tin and I was lucky indeed cos they did!

Thanks to Min's book Kraf Gula, I managed to get a good tutorial for the burger, though I couln't get the exact colour but I am quite pleased with my first oblong burger carrot cake! I wasn't exactly sure how the oblong burger should look like cos I had never tasted them, googled in the net but found very little info and images of the oblong burger

By 2 pm I had it delivered, via her nephew where we met up in Jitra. Thanks Haniey for making me try something different and wish your Abang Acubek every success with his 'Sempoii' oblong burger business.

Bunny in a hole......

that sneak preview earlier was for you and u didn't know, did you......I just want to surprise you.....

I have always wanted to do this....not the bunny , but the messy, non-smooth icing thingy. just spread the cream cheese and dab here and there and I am done. Thank you Yus for giving me this much awaited opportunity and as for the bunny, I just thot what goes hand in hand with carrot, this big carrot cake, well of course, it's the rabbit...

made a few baby carrots with fondant, nozzled out some green buttercream grass and I've got my carrot cake with walnut with cream cheese topping with a white bunny rabbit poking out of its hole to get at those yummy carrots.

Thanx min from bakingproject cos I was inspired by one of her decos from her book "Kraf Gula" which co-incidentally the one that I won. Yup. I was one of the three lucky winners who won Min's book. I just changed a bit instead of the bunny in a cupcake, I put it in a hole in a big carrot cake.

Thank you so much Yus for this order and the 50 pieces of vanilla cupcakes with raisins ( how could I have forgotten to snap the photos , must be the excitement of going to meet the person who orders this carrot cake,Yus, for the first time. We've only just known each other, and that too not personally, it was through another friend's blog, " dalam dakapan ibu". We exchanged comments via Ja's blog and e-mails and found out that we have a lot in common...like the kitkat inside our drawers.....hihi....

Ja, I was going to add in the photos of the chocolate mousse that Yus tasted....to make you double droool....tapi lambat sangat nak load, maybe next time, got to finish off Birthday cake " Kereta Merah" for another sweet friend.
