Devil's Food cc and MCB for Ida

Simple deco for the cc, just for makan2 for raya. Ida wanted to try something new from Zue's Oven, so I suggested this Devil's food cupcakes which I tried the other day. It taste completely different from the other chocolate cupcake.
the top is rather crumbly and the inside is very soft . , very nice


sori Ida for the misunderstanding masa nak ambik cakes ni. I thot you were someone else who ordered the cheesecake with MCB jugak . She said she would be coming at 4 pm and coincidentally you also came around 4 ( I was expecting you around noon ), so I showed you the cheesecake with fruits. You insisted that it wasn't your order. You said that you ordered cupcakes and the cuppies were right in front of us at that time and I said that those were for someone else when it actually was yours. Quite funny jugaklah masa tu because I honestly believe that you were someone else, so sori about that kay.ni mesti kes tak cukup tidur ni, sampai confuse habis.

2 MCBs and one choc moist. my neighbour ordered one MCB last month for makan2 and this time she ordered 2. I guess it could mean that she likes it, right? I do hope so.

hani's order for raya

banana choc chip muffin , hani is the first person to order this. just like the blueberry cheese tarts, she was the first too when she ordered it the last time she came back to Alor Star.












Hani also ordered biskut batik for raya. she was asking me about trifle. I lurvee trifle. Back then, I always made trifle because it was so easy to make and yet taste sooo gooood. Back here I still do not have the opportunity to try just yet. maybe one of these days i might try and when i do, I'll let you know, okay Hani.....

It was the end of Ramadhan, only a couple more days to the arrival of Syawal and this period would be the busiest for all mothers, wives, husbands and not forgetting kids who offerred their tiny and not so tiny little hands to assist their parents in whatever way they possibly could and my kids were no exception.

Out of these many cakes and MCBs on the table, two were for my friend Nani and the my other friend also ordered two MCBs to bring back to her parents' house in Perak. Hers were special indeed because they were made with extra cheese on top! Really cheesy people!

Mek and her cakes

Mek ordered two bluberry cakes, one was for her maid who was going back to colebrate her son's birthday and the other for her and the family. For this one I used sponge cake and fresh cream as the topping and glaze.

Blueberry cake with fresh cream topping, I used vanilla magnolia cake inside and layered with blueberries in between.

Mek ordered two chocolate cakes, one for her family and the other for MIL. Ni lah contoh menantu mithali...:-)
Two different recipes for the chocolate cakes but taste equally good and scrumptious.
Biskut batik or kek batik to some people. Mek is my first customer for biskut batik. Biskut batik has always been our favourite. Got this recipe from a friend in UK and my sister brought this recipe back to Ireland and it is an instant hit with her friends too. I hope it's a hit with Mek and family too.
