I have always wanted to do this....not the bunny , but the messy, non-smooth icing thingy. just spread the cream cheese and dab here and there and I am done. Thank you Yus for giving me this much awaited opportunity and as for the bunny, I just thot what goes hand in hand with carrot, this big carrot cake, well of course, it's the rabbit...
made a few baby carrots with fondant, nozzled out some green buttercream grass and I've got my carrot cake with walnut with cream cheese topping with a white bunny rabbit poking out of its hole to get at those yummy carrots.
Thanx min from bakingproject cos I was inspired by one of her decos from her book "Kraf Gula" which co-incidentally the one that I won. Yup. I was one of the three lucky winners who won Min's book. I just changed a bit instead of the bunny in a cupcake, I put it in a hole in a big carrot cake.Thank you so much Yus for this order and the 50 pieces of vanilla cupcakes with raisins ( how could I have forgotten to snap the photos , must be the excitement of going to meet the person who orders this carrot cake,Yus, for the first time. We've only just known each other, and that too not personally, it was through another friend's blog, " dalam dakapan ibu". We exchanged comments via Ja's blog and e-mails and found out that we have a lot in common...like the kitkat inside our drawers.....hihi....

Ja, I was going to add in the photos of the chocolate mousse that Yus tasted....to make you double droool....tapi lambat sangat nak load, maybe next time, got to finish off Birthday cake " Kereta Merah" for another sweet friend.

though our meeting was brief cos your hubby dearest and youngest dotter were waiting in the car ( brief pun sempat gak sembang rancak kan...)

Nina tu bukan main lagi pulun apa yg aunty Zue sua. Semua tak tolak. Niza pun dah rasmikan cuppies tu masuk yg ke dua I kata stop2 dulu. esok kita sambung lagi. Ja, u pun sama ngan I, kita sama2 minat that husky , sexy voice with scar face guy with songs like "Run to u", "summer of 69", I lurve this guy, even went to his concert back in the 90s.

Zue suka tengok Nina finish off the three cuppies tu. Undescribable feeling at that moment cos your effort is being appreciated, speaking of which, gotta get back to my rolling pin and fondant, the wedding gift cupcake fom a sister in cyberjaya for her sister in Taman Uda is waiting for me. Dah buat half way, just took a breather, layan blog ni and just want to sembang with you.

ReplyDeleteI had a great time with my in-laws yesterday and with my much awaited old friend from ITM days last nite and this morning.I duk ingatkan dia datang sekeluarga hence the cupcakes yg I order for the kids. Tengok2 my friend tu dtg just dgn wife dia je. So, I kirim depa bawak balik cupcakes tu sikit je, yg lain I nak sapu bersih, hahhahahah..
The carrotcake tu I letak lilin banyak2 dan suruh anak2 sedara yg kecik2 nyanyi "happy birthday to everybody" since it's a nobody's birthday pun.Just nak formalise the cake cutting je.Tu pun I cakap, sorang sepotong je, ok? (dalam hati i nak makan banyak2 kek ni) hahah. what a mean mak sedara I am!

ReplyDeletemasa kat UK dulu memang minat habis dgn mat lagu2 jiwang ni, dgn muka yang yang...dan suarnya yang..tangkap lelehlah dengar lagu2 dia, siap hafal lagi but stll lah leh lawan minat I kat Bryan Adam.Tak tahu lah pulak dia sombong, ye ke. Yus you tahu dulu zue minat rock groups sangat, cam White Snake, Def Leppard tu, went to both concerts....jiwa rock tu ada jugaklah, satu lagi kumplan Rainbow, Dunno about you....tapi takdaklah sampai angguk2 kepala gitu...layan lagu je..

ReplyDeleteI suka dengar lagu2 yg tangkap sampai ke jantung, tak kira yg slow atau tak berapa slow. rock yg jenis trash tu I tak minat la, tapi kalau bryan adams tu suka...kadang2 the singers tu I tak tahu nama sgt, tapi kalau start dgr melodi 'nananana', I dah tahu lagu mana yg keluar. Kira tu I minat lagu2 lah.
oh, my picnic went on very well. Kek rabbit tu dah tinggai separuh.cuppies pun tinggai separuh. I catu debit kredit akaun kek I :)
I think I could do this more often. Kalau Zue nak jalan2 ke sini, let me know. Kita piknik kat dalam kampus. My friend tu kata best sgt experince picnic dlm kampus.

u r very right. camera is one of the ingredients, tu yg my hubby siap belikan yang SLR tu,zue main tangkap je, digital pun jadik. sama macam handphone, janji boleh call in and out, canggih2 ni tak reti. dapat create blog ni pun dah besaq tuah...very the not so celik IT lah..
ReplyDeletetrash zue tak suka jugak macam iron maiden ke apa tu, snow white eh silap, white snake laguu dia banyak gak yang slow, basically zue suka slow rock lah.tapi kadang tu boleh layan jugak Metallica , red hot chilli pepper, nirvana....alamak, terasa muda sekali, mengimbau zaman 80an dan 90an....
yalah, dah lama tak picnic, ke pegi pantai ke, pegi air terjun ke. shian kat dia, dah nak kena tinggai...sayngkn isteri tinggal2kan...
just came back from outing with the family.makan2 kat pizza hut,main bowling and then back.my kids baru 1st time merasa baling bowling ball on their own, apalagi, org kedah kata,ciwi habeh...
