All these Marble cheese brownies ( MCB ) were orders for raya. I would like to thank everyone who chose Zue's Oven treats for their eid celebration, be it for their own, or as gift to in-laws, families, or friends. some of them ordered not just MCB but also Zue's Oven cookies, cheesecakes, cupcakes and oreo chocolate cheesecakes, not forgetting chocolate cakes and biskut batik.

MCB for warga tgkt 11

It was a few minutes after midnite, all the bags, boxes of cakes , dirty laundry, new cake decorating books, some items from B*k* With Y*en, etc, etc, were unloaded from our car. Should I do it tonite or should I do it tomorrow? It was supposed to be delivered at 3 pm on 6th Oct which is that very day, since it was already past midnite, it was already 6th Oct.

I didn't plan to stay until Monday but due to unavoidable circumstances, we had to extend our stay in KL.



A promise must be kept. They are not meant to be broken. Since I had my fair share of sleep along the journey while my hubby did all the driving, all the way, more than three hours to reach home, I think I was up to baking one MCB for my friend.

By 7 am I was happy to sms to my fren that her MCB was ready. I had finished much earlier than that, had a few hours of sleep before sending my daughter to school at 7 am.Stopped to buy three trays of eggs at the morning market for my next project, 6 MCB, 2 cheesecakes, 2 chocolate cakes, 200 pcs of ice cream green tea cookies and 200 pcs of roasted almond with milk chocolate.

By 3.15 pm i was on my way to the much eagerly waiting people, because my friend had already informed them that they would be having marble cheese brownies for their tea.

thank you Azah for trusting me with this. see you next Friday and I would be making another MCB if the meeting is not delayed or postponed.:-)

7 + 1 marble cheese brownies

Earlier it was 8 MCB, one to be taken in the fasting month itself and the balance of 7 on Thursday before raya.

until a few days before i receiveda call, "Zue, MCb tu 8 bijik, bukan 7 ye......"




Since it is for raya, I just add the wordings"Salam Aidil fitri or Salam Lebaran", or selamat Hari Raya.

11 + 1 marble cheese brownies

I just had to sms her to confirm on the quantity because the order was placed before I went back to my hometown for raya and she wanted them on Sunday, 27th Sept and she wanted not just one or two or three marble cheese brownies, but eleven!
her friends tasted it at her house and took a liking to it. I am flaterred!


then she called back,
"kak Zue boleh tambah satu lagi tak? make it 12"
What is another one. After all I am already would be making 11 MCB. The other additional one was for her own. she didn't get to taste the one she ordered the first time round.used 12 blocks of butter, 12 blocks of cream cheese, 48 eggs to make these MCB drew all sorts of designs on them and there you go, as you can see on my workng table. 12 MCB ready to be collected by Puan Rose who ordered them thru Wahida.

This raya is MCB year. had so many orders and request for them. I made one each for my family in Kelantan and my in-law here in Kedah.

A few of the designs that I made. One from my Noritake dish plate, the other design from my Pyrex Emily design plate and the others were from nowhere, just drew curly wurly with flowers andl leaves. Some with spider web design and the rest were the usual marbly design.
