sweet and special moment

My ex-colleague who is also my regular customer texted me saying that she and her friends , also my ex-colleagues , would like to come visiting for raya. You are all most welcome.

What should I make for them. I have no problems with cakes or desserts, insyaallah, but what about the main course? Should I make, or correction....order ,laksa, laksam, roti jala , etc.....
Kak Pah to the rescue, my good neighbour who is also the tailor for my daughters' baju kurung and the cook for my ketupat and rendang for raya.

Marble cheese brownies fresh from the oven spashly made for my guests. I was about to cut it when I remembered that I had not taken a shot of this cornelli design MCB.

Some or rather, a few of the dished prepared. Roti jala inside the covered dishes , credit went to Kak Pah who made this roti jala with chicken curry . I was busy preparing the dessert ( the other was oreo chocolate cheesecake ,which was in the fridge needed to be chilled ) so I left the expert to do the cooking. I made macaroni au gratin which was still in the oven while waiting for my guests to arrive. Some home made cookies or what is left of them and some from the raya hamper that my hubby got were in the cookies jar .

They came around lunch time so I served them with roti jala first, then only the macaroni au gratin came out from the oven, followed by dessert, MCB and oreo choc Cis kek to take away cos it's way past their lunch break. I had a great time, despite just the brief moment, thank you guys for coming over and make this year's raya extra special. Perhaps it's still not too late to wish everyone, Linda, Juin, Ti, Tini and Dell, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Batin. thanx for the invitation but sorry that I couldn't attend the office's raya open house last Sunday because I was in KL., anyway, thanx for the thot.
